Got two for two Bettas and placed the side by side, very pretty effect ( put a plant in the middle and have only corners touching, fish get all excited if they see each other and it is stressful for them). It is nice to be able to leave the lights on and turn off the bubbles if it becomes too much for the Bettas

For the price this is a good starter tank for your kids. Once they get older they won’t fit in it anymore and you’ll have to get something bigger though. Oh, and you can put fish in it also. Get these filters for it: Tetra Whisper Replacement Carbon Filter Cartrides, Small, 6 count and this to make you tap water safe for the kiddos… i mean fishes: Tetra AquaSafe Plus Water Conditioner/Dechlorinator. Honestly I hate the lights on the bubbler, it’s hard to get the kids, I mean fish, to sleep with the light changing color all the time.

This aquarium is so pretty. The lights change colors, there is a nice little filter and bubbler. Such a nice bright setup. Perfect for my beta.

We won a few fish at a fair and these little guys were stuck in a small fair tank gasping for air. I need airation in the tank asap, a good filter and 3 gallons. Just put my little guys in today and they are doing so well! Live in NYC so our tap water has a lot of chlorine. Set it with the declorinizer for 15 min and tested one sacrificial fish. He was ok so the rest went in and are swimming and happy and eating again! Best value for your money for fair fish. If I had a beta I would put him in here too.

I got this fish tank for my four baby goldfish and they are sooo happy! They definitely have enough space to swim around, and I was able to add some plants for decoration. The only issue I found was that the pressure of the pump was not strong enough to power both the bubbles and the filter, so I am currently only using the filter. If you still want bubbles I would suggest you buy them separately, because the price for this fish tank is still really good and you will still get a great functioning filter and colored lights, with a nice shaped fish tank. I like that the fish tank isn’t too wide but rather tall, so my fish have more space but I also get to save space on my desk which is where I have them (I love watching them swim as I work). I recommend you take good care of your fish, If they are happy and healthy I assure you will feel happy too!

Awesome little tank. Have a 2+ year old betta and a pleco in it. Darth Betta has rejuvenated since i moved him into it; ‘el greco’ the pleco could care less. The light is cool, but it’s a non-stop rotation of color that you can’t turn off unless you unplug it. I’m pretty sure it came with a coupler for the air pump to go to the aerator and filter.i had to play with that over the first 15 minutes to make sure it was balanced. But I found when I plug the LED’s in, I cut the air to the bubbler ring and feed him, there is no doubt that it’s feeding time.

I bought this tank for my betta fish. The filter is super quiet, The light changing is pretty neat, my son loves to watch it change color. It doesn’t come with a heater, that you have to buy separately for a couple of dollars. Perfect size tank, I used a little under a gallon of spring water w/ a little conditioner in it to fill up the tank and have to add a bit to the tank every two days to make sure it doesn’t get too low.

Purchased for my nephews Beta the beta doesn’t seem to like the bubbles hides behind the filter. Turned the bubbles off he’s much more active in the tank. Probably better suited for goldfish and such.
